MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – The Tennessee Highway Patrol, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and Clarksville Police Department will conduct a sobriety roadside safety checkpoint during the week of January 30 on Highway 48.
Officers will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment and will target those who operate a vehicle while impaired. The checkpoint is being funded by the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.
Sheriff John Fuson of the MCSO added that extra deputies will be patrolling on Super Bowl Sunday.
