CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Montgomery County residents can give the gift of microchipping to their favorite furry family member this season. The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County Spay-Neuter Clinic is rewarding owners of fixed pets with 250 free microchips during its 12 DAYS OF XMAS giveaway.
The event will be held Friday, December 13 through Tuesday, December 24 at the organization’s on-site clinic. Appointments will be scheduled, while supplies last, by phone only: (931) 542-2282. Leave just one phone message, multiple calls & messages will slow down return calls for all.
Despite a pet owner’s best care and effort, the Humane Society warns that most pets will go missing at some point in his or her life. Some pets are repeat offender escape artists, while others may fall victim to a car accident, home burglary, pet theft, or a strong wind blowing over a fence. The Home Again microchip offered by the Humane Society will provide your pet with a lifetime of protection for absolutely free.
This promo is offered for fixed pets only. If a pet is not spayed or neutered, pet owners are encouraged to book a surgery appointment online, which will in turn qualify them for future promos that may be offered by the organization throughout the year. For pets that already have spay-neuter surgeries booked at the Humane Society during the 12 Days of Xmas promo period, a free microchip will be offered as an option on the day of surgery, so no additional appointment is required.
