MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Local government offices will be closed Thursday, November 28, and Friday, November 29, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
City Public Safety departments will be on duty as usual and all essential City services will continue.
Clarksville Transit System will be closed Thanksgiving Day, but buses will resume regular service on Friday, and rides will be free to all passengers.
Clarksville Gas and Water administration and engineering offices, including both north and south customer service centers, will also be closed Thursday and Friday. In the event of a gas, water or sewage emergency, customers should call (931)-645-7400, or the emergency after-hours line at (931) 645-0116. The Utility Billing Line, (931) 645-7400, automated by phone and WebConnect will also be operational.
CDE Lightband offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. In the event of a service outage, customers should call (931) 648-8151. Customers can go online for service and bill paying information.
Both County and City offices will reopen on Monday, December 2, during normal operating hours.
