CLARKSVILLE, TN − Local Girl Scouts Pluto Graham and Peyton Hernandez have made it their Silver Award project to help spread resources to teens struggling with mental illness.
The pair decided to create a website that features breathing exercises, help hotlines, symptoms of mental illnesses, and more. They’ve spent countless hours researching, website building, and responding to feedback in order to provide support and resources to other youths.
When asked why they wanted to focus on teen mental health, Peyton had this to say: “Due to our own struggles we desired to help kids like us.”
“It was challenging, but I really hope it helps people,” Pluto was quoted as saying about their project.
“This is an amazing website!” one of their beta testers said. “It’s got a lot of good and accurate information.”
