CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – At the 2013 Early Intervention Conference, Progressive Directions, Inc.’s Early Intervention program received state wide recognition as a Leading Early Intervention Program.
The award recognized Progressive Directions, Inc.’s Early Intervention employees and program for their successful mission to precisely meet the needs of middle Tennessee children requiring TEIS services. The program has an overwhelmingly positive track record and numerous years of success. Their dedication has resulted in an obvious positive impact in improving the quality of life for children identified with special needs.
The award honoring the programs’ success was accepted by the Progressive Directions, Inc. Early Intervention team on behalf of the entire organization.
“I am so proud of our Early Intervention Team at Progressive Directions for receiving this award. They each do a wonderful job of working with our families of children that have special needs and truly make an impact in these families’ lives. I am honored to work with such a dedicated team of professionals,” said Program Director Jan Dunn.
The conference was held in Murfreesboro was titled ‘Building Best Practice: Partnering, Coaching, & Leading’, and focused on building partnerships with families and providers of all disciplines of Early Intervention to achieve the goals for the child. This year’s conference also hosted special guest presenters Dathan Rush, M’Lisa Sheldon, Sam Parker, and Bonnie Keilty.
Middle Tennessee currently includes 35 Early Intervention Resource agencies throughout the state. The Tennessee Early Intervention Services program’s mission is to provide educational programs, services, and support for families and children ages birth through two years of age with disabilities or developmental delays.
