Sheepdog Initiative, a non-profit, and My Family Home Furnishing came together in August to provide a service dog to a veteran back in August.

Sheepdog Initiative’s Quigg & Callender Project launched an application that lasted a month and the lucky winner of their choice would gain a new furry friend with all of the required training.

The winner was announced on Sep. 1. Eddie Spraybury, a retired helicopter pilot who served in the Army’s elite 160th SOAR, was selected for this gift. He chose a German Shepherd as his breed. He is currently awaiting his furry friend’s arrival from K-9 Companion of Nashville.

Sheepdog Initiative’s Quigg & Callender Project is dedicated to raising awareness of the issues of PTSD and Veteran Suicide. They also raise funds to provide  Veterans with PTSD  aid, and TBI with a service dog or service dog training.
