Did you know there’s a local brewery in downtown Clarksville where you and your favorite furry companion can go have a refreshing beverage?

You can also play games, do yoga, buy soap made with beer, admire plants and try tasty local food truck delicacies.

This hopping, ale of an eclectic place is called Kings Bluff Brewery, located on University Avenue, near Austin Peay State University’s campus and an increasingly cool downtown.

The family-owned establishment offers a wide variety of craft beer created using a diverse flavor catalog, from tropical, to malty, to daring, and carry unique names that come from Clarksville eateries and places.

Kings Bluff also works with local businesses to build their own house beers, like the Wicked Red IPA served at Wicked Good Sandwiches, and the Yada Cold Brew Stout, served at Yada on Franklin.

The community-focused business offers philanthropy pints for purposes through their Ale-truism program, which has raised funds for several community organizations.

For your puppy pal, they serve the Puppy Pilsner a broth based, pig-ear flavored treat for your best pup to lap up. All proceeds from those sales go to the Montgomery County Angel Fund.

Kings Bluff owners Dustyn and Kristen Brewer, who truly live up to their last name, use the best quality ingredients and create unusual recipes to elevate the customers’ experience beyond the usual craft beer brewery. Named after the best kept secret in Clarksville, Tennessee, King and Queens Bluffs exemplifies the spirit and culture within the people of this community.

The couple presented a pour to the Z97.5 crew and explained all things Kings Bluff on “I’d Tap That,” a radio series that explores the local craft beer brewery scene with Z97.5 afternoon host Samantha Knight.
