CLARKSVILLE, TN – The Clarksville Montgomery County Beekeepers Association (CMCBA) is hosting Beginner Beekeeping Class on Saturday, March 28, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at YAIPAK, 1255 Paradise Hill Road.
This all-day educational course is designed specifically for new and prospective beekeepers who want to learn how to responsibly and successfully care for honeybees. Participants will receive foundational instruction covering local laws and regulations, necessary equipment, how to safely inspect a hive, inspection schedules, weather considerations, disease identification, startup costs, and where to obtain bees and supplies locally.
The course aims to help strengthen beekeeping as a community-based agricultural effort while supporting pollinator education in Montgomery County and surrounding areas.
The class is limited to the first 50 registered participants. Lunch is included.
CMCBA is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing education and support for both new and experienced beekeepers. The association also participates in community events and educational outreach throughout the year, including school programs and public pollinator awareness efforts.
