CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — This week marks the nationwide release of author Jon M. Nelson’s new poetry book, “Brightness From the Shadows.”
In “Brightness From the Shadows,” Nelson writes literary passages that speak of being one with the entire human race. His new book houses a collection of poetry that attempts to address problems and issues that the world faces today. The author, who aims to make a difference through his poems, creates a work of art that many readers can relate to in some way. Nelson is an active duty soldier and a multiple award-winning poet. He writes poetry to honor military veterans, children, humanity and many other aspects of life. The author, who was born and raised in Minnesota, has been a world traveler since joining the military, and he has since shared his inspirational and uplifting poetry with fans from all over the world.
