CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Loaves and Fishes in Clarksville has announced their 3rd annual “Jingle Bells” Food Drive for the holiday season. The food drive is going on through the months of November and December.
Churches, businesses, schools, civic groups as well as individuals are asked to organize their own food drives to collect food and other items which will help feed the over 200 people Loaves and Fishes serves each day Monday through Saturday.
Large size canned, bottled or boxed goods of all varieties are being accepted. Hams, turkeys ground beef, sliced cheese and lunch meat can be donated. Along with food, things like paper towels, soap, detergent and other household items are also very useful.
Loaves and Fishes will be glad to pick up your donations, or you can drop them off at the Loaves and Fishes Soup Kitchen, 215 Foster Street, from 8:00 a.m.-Noon Monday-Saturday. Loaves and Fishes is located at the First Presbyterian Church Activities and Outreach Center at the corner of Foster and 3rd Streets.
