CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Several local cat and kitten rescues are hosting a live Facebook adoption event, “Home for the Pawlidays Online Cat & Kitten Adoption Event,” on Dec. 12. The event will run all day.

Due to COVID-19, many of the rescue and trap-neuter-return efforts came to a halt this year. Any outdoor cats were able to reproduce, resulting in an abundance of cats and kittens throughout Clarksville. Coupled with fewer adoptions than usual, these rescue shelters are looking for a good home for these cats.

The organizers of this event are urging anyone in need of a new feline friend in their life to attend this online adoption event. It will feature adoptable kitties from APSU Paws to Care, Finders Keepers Cat Rescue, Ron and Wendy’s Cat Adventures, Cats Are Us, and Purrrfect Paws Rescue.

You can follow the event here. Click “going” or “interested” to receive updates about the event, then tune back into the event page on Saturday, Dec. 12 for a day filled with live video streams, photos and adoption information. Each rescue will have its own adoption procedures and fees, so be sure to message them about the cat or kitten that you are interested in.
