Linda Carol Ferguson, age 70 of Bowling Green, KY, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 in Clarksville, TN.

She was born April 6, 1944 in Bowling Green, KY to the late Clifford Anthony, Sr. and Charles Marie Johnson Anthony. Linda was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ezra Anthony, Herschell Anthony, and William Follis Anthony; one sister, Margaret Anthony; and three grandchildren, Rashad Page, Veron Johnson, and Veronica Johnson.

Ms. Ferguson was a 1963 graduate of High Street High School. She was a member of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, in Bowling Green, KY and a member under watch care with Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, in Clarksville, TN. Linda was affectionately known to many as “Granny.”

Funeral service in Clarksville will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 7th at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, with Dr. Rev. David Allen officiating. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. Sunday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home.

Funeral service in Bowling Green will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 8th at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, with Dr. Rev. Earl Jackson officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, in Bowling Green.

Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.

Linda is survived by her life-long companion, Willie C. James of Clarksville; one son, Albert Dewon (Benita) Ferguson of Bowling Green, KY; four daughters, Feleesha Page Johnson of Clarksville, Crystal Page (Kenneth II) Gilchrist of Gainesville, VA, Tonya Ferguson (Marino Sr.) Cole of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and Kelly Ferguson of Bowling Green, KY; two brothers, Clifford (Wilma) Anthony, Jr. and David (Deborah) Anthony; four sisters, Charles Marie Shelton, Mary Landrum, Cecile (James Spence) Denning, and Clara Elizabeth Crabtree; twelve grandchildren, NaKeysha Page McNeill, Deontez Ferguson, Michael Johnson II, Desmond Crowe, Sadario Hardiman Jr., Charles Johnson, Isaiah Johnson, Kendia James, Marino Cole Jr., Ashley Cox, Rachelle Cox, and DeCarlo Cox; four great-grandchildren, Tressica McNeill, Richard McNeill, Jr., Mary Crowe and Emerie Crowe; and a host of nieces and nephews.
