Linda Farris Camp Covington, age 83, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Signature Healthcare of Clarksville.
Mrs. Covington was born March 13, 1940, in Trenton, KY to the late William “Pete” Camp and Ruth Evelyn Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Stanley Covington in 2016 and her brother, William “Bill” Walton Camp.
Linda is survived by her three sisters, Phyllis Jean Camp Covington, Amy Lynne Camp Loeffler and Christine Camp Morris. During her life, she was employed for approximately twenty-five years as an administrator in Civil Service at Fort Campbell, KY. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church and the Clarksville Bowling Association.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, July 2, 2023, in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home. Pall bearers will be Todd Covington, Shane Morris, Chris Loeffler, Kevin Loeffler and Ryan Loeffler and Terry Huff. Visitation will be held at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home on Saturday, July 1st, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and from 1:00 p.m. until the hour of service on Sunday, July 2nd. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Trenton, KY.
