CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Lightning struck an assisted living center, causing a fire, off Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway during Monday’s storms.
At 6:46 p.m., the fire at Fieldstone Place Assisted Living, 51 Patel Way, was reported, according to Clarksville Fire Rescue.
Lightning had struck the exterior wall by the laundry room. Ladder 3’s crew quickly extinguished the fire and evacuated the residents to the adjacent building, CFR said. No occupants were displaced, and no injuries were reported.
Responding were Engine 2, Ladder 3, Rescue 3, Engine 4, Tower 1, Rescue 12, District 3 and Battalion 3.
