Coming off the winter months can be tough, but warmer weather brings a time of renewal and a perfect opportunity to try new things! Certainly, with the aging process, most of us will experience some tremendous challenges and that aspect of our life cannot be dismissed, nor taken lightly. Keeping that in mind, we must also not dismiss that retirement is something we all look forward to and therefore, when that time is upon us, certainly something to be enjoyed!
Five Star and Fieldstone Place recently launched Lifestyle 360, a whole community approach to a happier, healthier, well-rounded style of living. With this new approach, what better way to kick off a style of living than with a Fieldstone replica of the Kentucky Derby Days led by Fieldstone’s own Lifestyle 360 Director, Mrs. Roszena McRae! Ladies attended the event after designing their own large, beautiful hats and residents sipped on classic derby Mint Juleps created by the community’s Executive Director, Tony Whitehead. Cindy Hancock from Oasis In Home Care, accompanied by Kaye Davis with Behavioral Healthcare Center at Clarksville, provided races and hats for this exciting event. Residents truly got the full experience of being at the Kentucky Derby without ever having to leave their home!
