CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Many in Clarksville are discovering a new and exciting way to worship with LifePoint Church. Pastor Mike Burnett, Lead Pastor at the church sat down recently with Clarksvillenow.com to talk about the church’s growth in the community and how they are reaching out to spread the word of God and Jesus Christ.

Pastor Burnett talked about the church’s name, LifePoint. “The real emphasis behind that is Jesus is the point of eternal life and our mission is to lead people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus, not of me, or our church, or our denomination,” Burnett said.

One of the new ways LifePoint Church is helping to grow its congregation is through a new video venue. The heart of the church is a beautiful house of God at 1915 Rossview Road. Pastor Burnett said that around a third or close to half of their current church members come from the Fort Campbell and Exit 1 area.

With the Rossview Road location of LifePoint filling to capacity and not wanting to add another service, Pastor Burnett approached West Creek Middle School about utilizing their facility for Sunday morning services. “That venue is central to where we draw so many people so it was just an easy solution,” said Burnett.

There is a very unique experience taking place inside the church with the 8 a.m. service at LifePoint at Rossview being recorded and then transported to West Creek where the video is presented for church members at the 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. services. Executive Pastor, Jordan Hanson oversees the worship services at West Creek.

Pastor Hanson talked about another aspect of LifePoint which is the Dream Team. Dream Team members serve in different roles in the church leadership but are all still part of the same team in bringing people together at LifePoint Church.

Also at LifePoint Church, you’ll find Kidpoint, for newborns up to 5th grade. Kidpoint Director Kristie Martinez said they want parents to feel safe and secure and that it’s an environment where people are caring for their children. What they learn at Kidpoint is tailored to where they are developmentally.

The West Creek venue of LifePoint offers an amazing Sunday morning experience which starts with a friendly welcome in the parking and a smile at the door. It continues for families with the Kidoint ministry, delicious Lasaters coffee to help lead you into an amazing worship service.

Sunday Services are held at LifePoint Church, 1915 Rossview Road at 8, 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. West Creek Middle School is at 1200 West Creek Coyote Trail with services at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m.
