CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) If you have been down Rossview Road lately I’m sure you’ve noticed construction work and changes taking place at LifePoint Church. In fact, the church is celebrating a Grand Opening Sunday, March 26.
Lead Pastor, Mike Burnette, said that In March of 2016 LifePoint Church held their final service at the Rossview Road site and moved their worship services, and a congregation of around 1,500, to their satellite location at West Creek Middle School.
“We’re coming back to our old location, but in a brand new facility, there’s nothing about this building, that resembles the last building at all. Every wall was removed every room was taken out. The only thing that still exists are the side walls of the structure,” said Burnette.
Burnette added they’ve grown into a 1,050 seat auditorium, there’s room for 450-500 kids per service and a lot of lobby and patio space for gathering before and after services. Burnette emphasized one important point, “at the end of the day it’s just a building, a facility to do ministry. The people of this church have grown tremendously, spiritually and in number,” Burnette said.
“While this building seems like fancy or big, we wanted to be very simple in our building design, we wanted to be clean, modern and also multifunctional. We want community groups to be able to use it. We want it to double as conference space, retreat space, big event things, etc., and of course we want to function as a building for worship too,” said Burnette.
Join LifePoint Church, 1915 Rossview Road, for their grand opening celebration, Sunday, March 26 with three services, 8:00, 9:30, and 11:30 a.m.
