CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Charges are pending for a driver involved in a crash at the intersection of Old Trenton Rd. and Wilma Rudolph Blvd that injured four people.
Officer Harris with the Clarksville Police Department received footage from a red light camera that shows Kourtnee Candler, 21, was traveling southbound in the left lane when she ran the red light 21 seconds after it had changed.
A 2009 Nissan Versa driven by 39-year-old Brendan M. McGettigan with two passengers, ages 9 and 6, collided with a 2001 Honda Accord, driven by Candler.
McGettigan and the two children and were transported by LifeFlight to Vanderbilt Medical Center, and Candler was taken to Gateway Medical Center by ambulance. Their conditions were not released.
Both drivers were given blood tests and the results are pending.
Charges in the crash are also pending.
