The Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library is looking for interested persons to fill upcoming open slots on its Board of Trustees.
The Board values diversity and inclusion and would like to have a variety of perspectives and viewpoints represented in its membership. If you are someone who cares deeply about the library and would like to support its mission by serving as a Trustee on the Library Board, please contact Martha Hendricks, Library Director, at 931-648-8826, Ext. 21400.
You will be provided a simple form for prospective candidates that will allow you to explain your reasons for wanting to join the Library Board along with your professional and volunteer experience. Applications are due Wednesday, March 31. Any questions about the basic duties of the position will also be explained.
The Board will present its initial slate of candidates for Trustee openings at the next Library Board meeting – 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21, at the Library. All Library Board meetings are open to the public.
