CLARKSVILLE, TN – Liberty Elementary’s 30th Birthday Bash was a wonderful celebration of community, wellness, and family support. The event was hosted by Liberty Elementary School and the health and wellness team.
Liberty’s Healthy School Team partnered with local organizations to provide families with healthy summer resources, especially for parents and families new to the area. Community partners such as the Health Department, Top Degree Cheer, Winter’s Angels, Centerstone, and more joined the event to share information, resources, and free items with students. Thanks to a mini grant from Clarksville-Montgomery County School System’s Health and Wellness Department, Liberty was also able to create Healthy Summer Living bags for students.
These bags included items such as sunscreen, sunglasses, jump ropes, and other tools to encourage students to stay safe, active, and healthy throughout the summer.
