Lewis Paul Hyatt, Jr., age 58, died August 28, 2013 at his Nashville home. He was born April 27, 1955 in Clarksville, TN to Lewis Paul Hyatt, Sr. and the late Martha Greer Robey Hyatt.

Lewis was a member of the Clarksville High School class of 1973 and attended several colleges. He attended First Presbyterian Church while growing up in Clarksville. He served two years in the U. S. Navy. A musician/composer, he sometimes worked as a back up bass guitarist for major rock and roll bands.

Survivors include his father, Lewis Paul Hyatt, Sr., professor emeritus at Austin Peay State University, who currently resides in Henrico, VA; three sisters, Resa C. Hyatt, of Hartsel, CO, Nancy Ellen Hyatt Wilmink (R. David), of Henrico, VA, and Della Hyatt DeLay (T. Michael), of Atlanta, GA; one niece, April Wilmink Browning (Joel D.); two nephews, Drew Wilmink and Miles DeLay; a great-niece, two great-nephews and many Alabama cousins.

A graveside service will be held at Memorial Cemetery in Arab, AL on November 10, 2013.

Visitation with family will be held Saturday, November 9 from 11-1 p. m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to www.littlekidsrock.org or the American Heart Association.
