Contributed commentary from Gary Linfoot of Adams endorsing Greg Gilman for state Representative, District 68:
It’s high time we break free from politics as usual and elect a representative who truly serves the people, not special interest groups. We’ve all voiced this sentiment in every election, yet we continue to elect representatives backed by big money. Are you tired of “experienced” politicians who promise change but have been part of the problem for years? I certainly am. Let’s make a change this time by electing Greg Gilman as our Tennessee state representative for District 68.
It’s high time we elected a citizen legislator, not a career politician. That’s why I voted for Greg Gilman. With Greg, we can bring about the change we’ve been longing for.

I’ve had a personal relationship with Greg for over 27 years. He is one of the most well-read conservatives I’ve ever known and has always been correct on the issues! He is dug into the local community. As a highly decorated Army veteran who served in the 101st Airborne Division and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, a reserve Montgomery County deputy sheriff, and a civilian contractor at Fort Campbell, he is one of us. He gets the issues.
Greg Gilman’s grasp of national issues that affect local issues – from school vouchers to Chevron deference, to the 17th Amendment to the Constitution, to local taxes, and even our daily traffic woes – is impressive. But what’s even more inspiring is his plan to tackle these issues head-on. You’re not alone if you’re tired of being stuck in Clarksville traffic with no relief in sight. Greg Gilman has a plan that gives us hope for a better future.
Greg is a true conservative who values individual rights and responsibilities. His unwavering belief in small, efficient government, in line with our nation’s founders, is important. He is not influenced by special interest groups and is committed to serving only his constituents. He is not a career politician but a dedicated public servant, always putting the needs of his constituents first.
Greg Gilman is the man we need, and that’s why I voted for him, and that’s why I endorse him for Tennessee state representative for District 68.
