By this time in the 2008 election cycle there had already been at least 3 Democratic debates. There is not even one scheduled to date.

The press and media outlets do not hardly mention Mr. Sanders as even being a candidate. Yet he is climbing in the polls vs. Clinton. In some cases passing her. In every candidate poll recently he is easily chosen to beat any republican running. Should that be enough for more debates? So stop the stalling on scheduling.

Many media outlets have in the past have sponsored their own debates, IE: CNN, NBC, PBS, ABC, CBS, colleges and universities and on and on. The DNC says that can’t happen this cycle. Why would they do that? We should force them to set dates for debates, expand to more than 6 and not limit candidates from participating in non-DNC sanctioned debates. These tactics by the DNC are obviously formed to keep their choice in the front. Freedom? The choice should be ours and unabated.

There are well over a hundred candidates that are officially filed to run so I’m not suggesting they all get in, that would be a circus. Those candidates high in the polling should be allowed to debate their peers. Did you know that there were 19 debates in the 2012 democratic presidential season? Does this bother you as much as it does me? How do we keep the freedoms given us?

This should make you want keep our freedom to gather the information needed to make our own choices. Call or write the DNC, media outlets and your local press.
