A Celebration of Life service for MSG Leon Marion Daniel, ARMY (Ret), age 69 of Clarksville, will be Monday, October 5, 2020, at 10:30 AM at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Sykes Funeral Home and again on Monday at 10:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Burial will follow at the KY Veterans Cemetery West. Leon passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2020. He was born on April 26, 1951, in Spencer, IA to Leonard and Margaret Davis Daniel who precede him in death.
Leon retired from the United States Army after over 22 years of service. He enjoyed bowling, rebuilding computers, antique cars, woodworking, and tinkering in his garage.
He is survived by his wife of over 49 years, Mary Daniel; children, Trisha (Luke) McClain and Troy (Bethany) Daniel; sisters: Janet O’Hara, Cheryl Kramer, and Lois Schaffer; grandchildren: Regan McClain, Garett McClain, Alexandria Daniel, Ethan Daniel, Jena McClain.
