MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Tenn. – The Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will conduct a sobriety roadside safety checkpoint during the week of Feb. 20 on Highway 12 in Montgomery County.

Officers will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment. They will target those who operate a vehicle while impaired and take corrective actions for other violations observed while ensuring the protection of all motorists.

THP says that sobriety checkpoints are highly visible and effective tools in the battle against impaired driving.
