STEWART COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol, Stewart County Sheriff’s Department and Dover Police Department will CONDUCT a sobriety roadside safety checkpoint on June 24 on Highway 79 in Stewart County.
Officers will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment. They will target those who operate a vehicle while impaired.
Law Enforcement says that sobriety checkpoints are highly visible and effective tools in the battle against impaired driving.
