Latonia Savon McGougan age 62 of Clarksville, passed away at her residence on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. She was born February 10, 1958, in Clarksville, the daughter of the late Charles Edward Nicholson and Elizabeth Wallace Nicholson of Clarksville.
Latonia is a 1975 graduate of Clarksville High School. She has worked over the years as a caregiver and CNA at Clarksville Manor as well as in-home health care. She devoted her life to caring for others and was devoted to her children and grandchildren and all of her family.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband Antonio McGougan of Clarksville, two daughters Alicia McGougan (James Benton) of Clarksville; and Adrienna McGougan (Tony Lee Jr.) of Clarksville; two sons Antonio McGougan of Clarksville; and Aaron McGougan of Clarksville. Also surviving is a brother Arthur Nicholson of Clarksville; three sisters Glenda Bowers of Antioch, TN; Rhonda Thomas of Clarksville, and Kym Russell of San Diego, CA. She is also blessed with five grandchildren, Samiyah, Aniyah- Semaj- London- and Christian. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her Father and Mother in Law, Odell & Augusta McGougan.
Memorial services for Latonia will be conducted on Saturday, July 18, 2020, at 2:00 PM at Gateway Funeral Home. Visitation will be from noon until the time of services at the funeral home.
