CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – This weekend is your last chance to see the hilarious comedy, “Exit Laughing” at the Cumberland Arts Centre.
This production, written by Paul Elliot and directed by Art Conn, features some veteran actors as well as some new faces to the Cumberland Arts Centre.
The cast includes Hannah Lee as Rachel, Judy Cloud as Connie, CC Carmack as Leona, Ginger Mulvey Beireis as Millie and Scotty Phillips as Bobby.
Synopsis: There’s nothing funny about dying … or is there? Exit Laughing makes death more approachable as it reveals the funny side of “passing on.” As painful as it is to lose a loved one, Exit Laughing shows us that in times of grief, humor can help us with coping and even healing. As one reviewer says, “It’s The Golden Girls meets Steel Magnolias”.

Doors open at Friday and Saturday 6:00 p.m., with meal service starting at 6:30 and show at 7:30. Entrée choices for this production are pork tenderloin or crispy cheddar chicken.
