Larry Tyler, age 57 of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2014 at Gateway Medical Center.
Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2015, with the family present from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at Foston Memorial Chapel.
He was April 1, 1957 in Clarksville to Jessie Tyler and the late Lawrence Johnson. He was a 1975 graduate of Clarksville High School and a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church Spring Creek.
He is preceded in death by his stepfather Frank Melton.
He leaves to cherish his memory son Larry D. Tyler, Jr; mother Jessie Tyler Melton;sisters Patricia(Garland) Mixon, Virginia Melton, Angie(Michael) Allen, Darlene Johnson, Tracey Lauderdale all of Clarksville, TN and Monica(Charles, Jr) Spencer, Christina, TN;brothers, Dwayne E.(Mary) Tyler, Clarksville, TN and Lawrence Johnson, Jr, California; aunt Annie Frances(Hurley) Dennis;uncle Clayborn Wayne (Suzette) Tyler and 10 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
