CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (ESPN CLARKSVILLE) – The Lady Wildcats made quick work of the Brighton Cardinals in the Region 7-AAA semifinal game, utilizing the mercy rule, winning 9-0 in the first half.
The defending state champions’ offense was too much for Brighton. CHS had 27 shots on goal.
Destiny Hill and Janiya Stevens both scored 3 goals, recording a hat trick in just one half. Ella Roth, Madison Allen, and Kristen Gasaway each scored a goal in the decisive win.
Clarksville High plays for the Region 7-AAA title on Thursday at home against the winner of the Henry County/Arlington game.
