CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Lady Crossovers 8th Grade Team competed in the 3rd Annual Mid State Sports Hoopfest in Franklin, Tennessee this past weekend.
The team earned the #1 seed heading into Championship play Sunday after defeating the TN Shock and the Lady Hurricanes on Saturday.
Lady Crossovers Evie Darnell and Emoni McCray led the team and helped dominate all performances on Saturday. As Team members Reagan Fisher, Jana Darnell, Shay Conn, and Atiya Moss contributed on the defensive side.
The Lady Crossovers are coached by Marqua Mcculler and will attend basketball camps the entire month of June. The team will then head to Memphis, Smyrna and Lebanon to end the season.
