CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Kroger pharmacies nationwide are offering free risk assessments and blood glucose screenings for pre-diabetes and diabetes. The screenings will be by appointment and run through June 22.

There are three Kroger pharmacy locations in Clarksville.

Appointments can be made by calling any Kroger Pharmacy or visiting their website.

Studies show one out of three people have pre-diabetes.  Prediabetes is when blood sugar is higher than normal, but not high enough to be diagnosed as diabetes.  Kroger and The Little Clinic offer a Diabetes Prevention Program that can assist community members with making positive life choices if they are pre-diabetic.
