CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Tennessee Sports Writers Association has named Kirkwood High School sophomore quarterback Miles Reding a Class 6A All-State selection.

“I feel incredibly honored to be selected to the First Team All-State,” said Reding. “It’s a reflection of all the hard work I’ve put in, but I couldn’t have done it without my teammates, coaches and family who supported me along the way. This recognition motivates me to keep pushing myself and striving for even greater goals.”

Reding finished the regular season leading Class 6A in passing yards and touchdowns. He had 1936 yards on 121 completions and 24 touchdowns through the air. He also added 38 yards and a rushing touchdown on the ground.

Reding led Kirkwood to a 8-3 record, and their first playoff birth and home playoff game in school history. With Kirkwood now reclassed to 5A, Reding will look to reach greater heights in his junior year.
