CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Kirkwood High Cobras volleyball team hosted Beech High on Monday, Sept. 16, and while the Cobras battled it out in each set, the Buccaneers won three consecutive sets to earn the victory.
Even with the loss, the Cobras communication and energy were bright spots for head coach Shayla Smith.
“These girls are all really close off the court,” Smith told Clarksville Now. “They’ve been playing together for a lot of years, and those relationships help them on the court… We’re working on hustling for every ball, and we did that tonight. We want to be more consistent and focus on the little things. We got better in this game.”
