CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Kirkwood High School Guard Armani Smith has been named ClarksvilleNow Player of the Week following his performance in the Cobras’ games the week of Jan. 19-25. Smith averaged 28 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 assists over a two-game stretch, helping Kirkwood to an undefeated week against city rivals West Creek and Rossview.
“Armani has been one of the backbones of our team for years,” said Cobras head coach John Stigall. “He brings a level of experience and confidence that shows every night. He can score, he rebounds at a high level, and the most impressive part is that even with all the success he’s had, he’s never stopped working to get better.”
