STEWART COUNTY, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Murder suspect Kirby Wallace pleaded not guilty in court Monday morning to the charges he is facing, according to WKRN News 2.

Wallace is accused of killing two people and was the focus of an intense manhunt in Stewart and Montgomery counties. He was taken into custody on Oct. 5 in Stewart County.

At the time of his arrest, Wallace was wanted on nine charges, including two counts of first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, aggravated arson, especially aggravated robbery, and especially aggravated kidnapping.

Two people accused of harboring Wallace were also expected to appear in court Monday.

Derek Eugene Summers and Mindy Elaine Harris are each charged with one count of Accessory after the Fact for allegedly allowing Wallace into their home during the investigation of a murder in Indian Mound.
