CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The temperature was sitting in the upper 90s Friday afternoon as children and their parents stopped by the Heritage Park Splash Pad for the last Clarksville Parks & Recreation Splash Pad Party of the season.

The kids were provided with beach balls, bubble makers and water bottles to enjoy the water as it squirted from the splash pad.

School will be starting in a couple of weeks, and along with Heritage Park, this was the fourth splashing event this year, with others being held at the splash pads at Edith Pettus Park and Lettie Kendall Park.
