CLARKSVILLE, TN − Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County and the Clarksville ReStore invite kids ages 5 to 12 to join the Collect to Recycle Challenge—a fun and friendly summer contest that helps our planet and our community.

Beginning immediately until Friday, Aug. 2 at 4 p.m., kids can collect:

  • Aluminum cans (like soda cans)
  • Plastic bottle caps (from water bottles, milk jugs, and more)

Bring what you collect and your Recycle log (available online – habitatmctn.org/recycle or in store) to the Clarksville ReStore at 404 Madison St. and be sure to count the cans or caps before you come. Prizes will go to one boy and one girl in each category that collects the most cans or bottle caps—so everyone has a chance to win.

Best of all, everything you collect helps others: The aluminum cans raise money to help build homes for local families The bottle caps are turned into fun things like playground benches.
