CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- (CLRKSVILLENOW) Kenwood Middle School students held the third annual anti-bullying program on Thursday, April 5.
The program was a huge success and featured Mrs. Sharon Edwards, an author, public speaker, and anti-bullying activist. Other guests included A. Michelle Harleston who spoke about PTSD, Alondra Swink who shared her story, Leonard Dixon Jr., Life Coach and Football Player, Stephanie Jenkins, and music by Orlando Dean and Emmanuel Wade. Students participated in a “Be You” fashion showcase.
Kenwood Middle school student athletes visited Kenwood Elementary School to read with and to the younger students on Friday, April 6. This event was held to promote the importance of reading and provide a literacy connection between the elementary and middle schools.
