CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – LG employees will welcome CMCSS students back to school with a special celebration at Kenwood Middle School on Tuesday, August 6.
Over half of the teens in Tennessee and across the U.S. are stressed, and many do not know how to handle it. Today’s kids are confronted by many pressures and challenges, especially during the school year.
As part of a new Back-to-School initiative, LG Electronics is partnering with non-profit organizations for a Back-to-School celebration. The event will include a DJ, food and a focus on how students can deal with the stresses and anxieties often associated with the school year.
The celebration is part of LG’s new “Life’s Good: Experience Happiness” initiative, which is focused on bringing science-based tools to youth across the country to teach the six Sustainable Happiness Skills: mindfulness, human connection, gratitude, positive outlook, purpose and generosity.
The program will be held at Kenwood Middle School, located at 241 Pine Mountain Road, on August 6 from 5-7:30 p.m.
Clarksville is home of LG’s new high-tech factory, equipped with state-of-the-art automation and robotics employing over 700 people from the local area.
