CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) –The Kenwood High Unified Bowling team has won the 2025 TSSAA State Unified Bowling Championship. They’re the first unified state champions in Montgomery County history.
This is the second season that unified sports have been endorsed by TSSAA. An electric rowdy atmosphere in the second year of the championship saw the Knights reign supreme and capture the state title.
Unified sports, according to TSSAA, is a division of the Special Olympics. Unified Sports is committed to fostering social inclusion through collaborative sports training and competitive experiences, bringing together individuals with and without intellectual disabilities on a unified team. In the first season of unified sports, the Northwest Vikings captured the runner-up title in unified bowling.
