CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – A Kentucky sex offender was arrested Friday in Clarksville as part of a joint operation between The Middle Tennessee USMS Fugitive Task Force and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO).

Roderick R. Harper, 26, of Louisville, Ky., was arrested at a residence in St. Bethlehem for warrants from Kentucky for violations of the sex offender registry, escape and other charges, according to a press release from MCSO.

MCSO Investigator Jeff Morlock also charged Harper with violating the Tennessee sex offender registry and is also under investigation by the USMS for violations of the federal sex offender law.

Harper was booked into the Montgomery County Jail. His bond is set at $175,500.
