Kenneth Ward Stockdale, age 87, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Grace Healthcare.
Kenneth was born January 21, 1929, in Detroit, MI, to the late Verna G. Stockdale and Julia Francis Beakley Stockdale.
Mr. Stockdale was the retired Chief of Law Enforcement with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency. He was a member of Forest Street United Methodist Church and a US Army veteran.
Funeral service will be held Friday, January 29, at 1:00 PM, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. Sonny Kim officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM, and Friday, January 29, from 10:00 AM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Kitty Weems Stockdale; son, Mark (Carolyn) Stockdale of Nashville; daughter, Jennifer (Steve) Griffey of Clarksville; brother, Robert (Joan) Stockdale of Big Sandy, TN; and five grandchildren, Allison, Jared, Kevin, Kara, and Michael.
Pallbearers will be Locke Weems, Joe Brown, Edward Baggett, Josh Baggett, Steve Griffey, Jared Griffey, and Kevin Stockdale.
