Kenneth Rowe Averitt, Jr., age 62, of Clarksville, TN, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at his residence.
Kenneth was born on September 19, 1960, in Montgomery Co., TN to the late Kenneth Rowe Averitt, Sr. and June McCarty. Kenneth is also preceded in death by his sister, Amy Averitt.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Jay (Catherine) Averitt; daughters, Caroline Averitt and Emily (Christopher) Dial; brother, Rev. David (Debbie) Averitt; sister, Leigh Averitt, fiancée, Paula Sheppard; stepdaughters, Marlee Tyldesley, Trista Dodd, and Britain Millerd; grandchildren, Sally June, George, Ruth and Rowan.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home with Rev David Averitt officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, July 8, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service. Burial to follow directly after the service at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jeff Cates, David Cates, Jeff Ransdell, Steve Atkins, Chris Dial, Jay Averitt, Billy Gray, Matt Averitt, and Chris Atkins with honorary pallbearers, Cliff Sites and Larry Watson.
