Kellie W. Tipton, age 91, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Tennova Healthcare.
Mr. Tipton was born September 27, 1929, to the late Dillard Tipton and Amy Tipton Hoover. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his brothers, Wilburn Tipton and Billy Tipton; Sisters, Dorothy Cobb, Martha Cole, Goldie Roberts, and Della Adkins; Son-In-Law, Judge Ray Grimes.
He is survived by his wife, Cambria Cooper Tipton, sons; Richard Tipton (Michelle) and Robert Tipton (Regina); Daughters, Mary Katherine Miller (Randy), Margaret Anne Cox (Tommy), and Sharon Massey Grimes; Sisters, Beaulah Tipton Pennycuff (LC), Grandchildren; Amy Caslen, Morgan Massey Slack, Rachael Massey, Timothy Miller, Daniel Miller, Cammy Miller, Robert Tipton Jr., Kellie Clouser, and London Tipton.
Mr.Tipton was a retired First Sergeant in the U.S. Army, having served 22 years. He was also a member of the Oakwood Freewill Baptist Church. Kellie was a life member of the VFW Post 11160.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 12 p.m. at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home. With Rev. Dwayne James officiating. Visitation will be Monday, September 27, 2021, from 4 to 7 p.m., and Tuesday, 11 a.m. until the hour of Service. Interment will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
