Katie Garrett, age 65 of Clarksville, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2015.
Visitation will be from noon until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 with the family present from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Foston Funeral Home. Funeral service 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
She was born June 25,1949 in Clarksville to Ray A. and Imogene Perkins Miller. She was a 1967 graduate of Burt High School. She was a member of Mt. Nebo Missionary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her father Ray A. Miller and brother Gene Miller. She leaves to cherish her loving memory husband Newt L. Garrett, Jr;daughters, Darlean and Debra Garrett both of Clarksville, TN;mother, Imogene Miller brothers, Rev. Ray L. (Willie Mae) Miller and William L. Miller all of Clarksville, TN; sister-in-laws, Ann Wentz, Elenora (Albner) Mallory and Lucille(Billy) Wilcox; brother-in-law, Jimmy(Ruby Jean)Garrett, Howard(Patrica) Garrett, Albert(Ruby L.) Garrett and Edward(Tina) Garrett and 4 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
