A graveside service for Kathryn Joyce Carroll, age 88, of Clarksville, TN, will be Monday, February 26, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Kathryn was born on September 12, 1935, in Bessemer, AL to William and Martha Quarles. She passed away on February 20, 2024. Kathryn retired from the contracting division of Ft. Campbell, Ky after 20 years of service. She loved spending time with her family, cooking, shopping, watching game shows, and Alabama football.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, CW4 Jackie “Jack” Carlton Carroll (Ret); sons, Benny Carroll, Gary Carroll and Jackie Carroll Jr; 2 brothers; and 1 sister. She is survived by her son, Robert (Bonnie) Carroll; daughter, Kathy (Kevin) Alspaugh; daughter-in-law Darlene Carroll; sister, Martha Boatwright; grandchildren, Jonathan Carroll, Mindy Carroll, Kenny Carroll, Cathleen West, and Neal Alspaugh; 13 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
