A graveside service for Kathleen Christine Hays, age 72, of Clarksville, TN, will be Friday, November 1, 2024, at Kentucky Veteran’s Cemetery West in Hopkinsville, KY. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sykes Funeral Home.
Kathleen was born on November 16, 1951, in San Francisco, CA to Daniel and Pauline Anderson. She passed away on October 30, 2024. Kathleen was a school librarian for several years and then retired from the United States Postal Service. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and volunteered to help others in need. In her spare time, she enjoyed studying family history, reading, knitting, and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, Kathleen is preceded in death by her son, Brian Hays. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Leroy Hays Jr.; children: Dan Hays, James Hays, and Mary Marchand; grandchildren: Cameron, Katrina, Zoe, Moya, Courtney, Alizabeth, and Alexsis; and sister, Judith White.
