CLARKSVILLE, TN – Katey Barnett, previously a Commercial Credit Analyst, has been promoted to Commercial Banking Officer. Katey has been with Planters Bank since 2019 and has been in the Customer Service Representative, Ag/Commercial Loan Administrator, and Commercial Credit Analyst positions. In 2017, Barnett graduated Summa Cum Laude from Murray State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Economics. She is currently a member of HYPE (Hopkinsville Young Professionals Engage) and the Christian County Agribusiness Association.
Janina Carter, previously an Operations Banking Officer, has been promoted to Assistant Vice President/Operations Manager. Janina began working at Planters Bank in 1999 and has excelled in multiple positions, including serving as a long-time Customer Service Representative as well as a Treasury Management Analyst. Janina was selected to transition to the Operations Department to assume the role of Operations Manager approximately five years ago. Janina has been a Banking Officer for approximately four years. She attended Hopkinsville Community College, and she has been involved with the Aaron McNeil House where she sat on the board and co-chaired the Food Pantry Service. She is currently pursuing the National Check Professional (NCP) certification.
