Karen King Binkley, age 66, of Clarksville, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015 at her home.
Karen was born July 24, 1948, in Knoxville, TN, to the late Raymond White King and Auvergne Pierce King.
Mrs. Binkley was a teacher for over 30 years with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System, and most recently taught at East Montgomery Elementary school and was a member of Hilldale United Methodist Church.
Memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, January 16, at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Rev. B.J. Brack officiating. Visitation will be on Friday, January 16, from 4:00 PM until the hour of service, at the funeral home.
Karen is survived by her husband of 45 years, Paul Binkley; two sons, Brock (Tonya) Binkley of Katy, TX, and Brandon (Hollie) Binkley of Greeneville, TN; two brothers, Mike (Diane) King of Knoxville, TN, and Kevin (Debi) King of Kingston, TN; three grandchildren, Cole and Lane Binkley of Katy, TX, and Macie Binkley of Greeneville, TN; sister-in-law, Rose Marie (Charles) Dickson of Nashville, TN; nephew, Jeremy (Devin) Payne; four nieces, Lauren (Scott) Witt, Carrie (Derek) Witt, Lauren (Jay) Scarbro, and Niki Nolan; and great nieces and nephews, Jackson, Harrison, Griffin, Henry, Hiram, and Hagan Witt, Henley Kate, and Reese Scarbro, Jamie and Sydney Nolan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
